Checkpoints are located throughout the course; all runners must have their race bib number checked off at each one. There are water and lollies available at each check point – runners must carry their own water container as part of the mandatory gear.
Checkpoints are located as follows:
Checkpoint 1: Top of Flagstaff
Checkpoint 2: Bottom of Hurcums Hill
Checkpoint 3: Top of Flagstaff
Checkpoint 4: Behind Marsupial Park
FINISH/START LINE
We have been very lucky to have the support of the local Rural Fire Service during our events, members of the RFS are located at the checkpoints and throughout the course.
In addition to the RFS we have a trained first aid provider (usually a nurse or paramedic) located at the start/finish area and several evacuation points throughout the course if necessary.
